Who We Are

NorCal Fiduciary is led by Brian Toeppen, Principal Fiduciary and Founder. He is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary, licensed by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Professional Fiduciaries Bureau, a member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California, and a National Certified Guardian.

Before becoming a fiduciary, Brian worked as a consultant for local law firms, assisting with trust and probate document drafting. Through this experience, he gained firsthand insight into the legal and administrative complexities families face and recognized the need for a more attentive, white glove approach to probate and trust administration.

With a background in trust and probate matters, Brian brings both experience and a calm, thoughtful presence to his work. He understands that each situation is personal, often involving loss, transition, or family complexity, and approaches every matter with care, clarity, and respect. His goal is to provide steady guidance and reliable support so clients feel informed, supported, and confident from start to finish.
